Snf1 phosphorylates and activates Psk1. Once activated, Psk1 may phosphorylate Pbp1, which is known to stimulate stress granule formation and inhibit TORC1 through sequestration. Thus, Psk1 is a link between energy status and cell growth/proliferation.
