GeneRIFs: Gene References Into Functions What's a GeneRIF?
Results describe Sws1, a novel homologous recombination protein with a SWIM-type zinc finger that functions at an early step of recombination with two RecA-like proteins that are closely related to the human Rad51 paralogs XRCC2 and RAD51D.
Title: Sws1 is a conserved regulator of homologous recombination in eukaryotic cells.
The following sws1 gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the sws1 cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want? Comment | PROVISIONAL REFSEQ: This record has not yet been subject to final NCBI review. This record is derived from an annotated genomic sequence (NC_003423). On Dec 10, 2012 this sequence version replaced NM_001021520.1. Notes: S. pombe (fission yeast) sequence and annotation are available from: (URL, http://www.genedb.org/genedb/pombe/index.jsp) (URL, http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Projects/S_pombe/) CDS are numbered using the following system eg SPAC5H10.01c. SP (S. pombe), A (chromosome 1), c5H10 (cosmid name), .01 (first CDS), c (complementary strand). However, clones may have been reorientated since the original submission, therefore the complementary strand notation may be invalid for strand inference. |
