GeneRIFs: Gene References Into Functions What's a GeneRIF?
Chromatin immunoprecipitation experiments show that SBF, Whi5 and Stb1 recruit both Cdc28 and the Rpd3(L) histone deacetylase to G1 cyclin promoters.
Title: The E2F functional analogue SBF recruits the Rpd3(L) HDAC, via Whi5 and Stb1, and the FACT chromatin reorganizer, to yeast G1 cyclin promoters.
Cln3 regulates SBF by at least two different pathways, one involving the repressive protein Whi5, and the second involving Stb1.
Title: Recruitment of Cln3 cyclin to promoters controls cell cycle entry via histone deacetylase and other targets.
Results show that Stb1 is a stable component of both SBF and MBF that binds G(1)-specific promoters via Swi6 during G(1) phase.
Title: Stb1 collaborates with other regulators to modulate the G1-specific transcriptional circuit.
The following STB1 gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the STB1 cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want?
