On Mar 26, 2009 this sequence version replaced NM_139138.2. Sequence Note: This RefSeq is annotated with the 5'-most in-frame translational start codon. This start codon has a weak Kozak signal and appears to be mouse-specific. Two other possible start codons exist, and their use would reduce the length of the protein N-terminus by 2 aa and 8 aa, respectively. Due to leaky scanning by ribosomes, it is possible that all three start codons are used.
