Here is presented the crystal structure of the active form of the yeast Kluyveromyces lactis Dcp1-Dcp2 enzyme bound to its product (m(7)GDP) and its potent activator Edc3. the KlDcp2(1-275) coding sequence (NCBI gene ID 2895228) was amplified from genomic DNA with oligonucleotides OBS7203 and OBS7204, fusing it to a His6 tag.
