Polymorphisms in CXCR1 are significantly associated with bovine mastitis
Title: Case-control approach application for finding a relationship between candidate genes and clinical mastitis in Holstein dairy cattle.
(PCR) was used to detect the methylation status of CXCR1 CpG island, and quantitative fluorescence PCR was used to detect CXCR1 expression in bovine mammary tissue
Title: Methylation analysis of CXCR1 in mammary gland tissue of cows with mastitis induced by Staphylococcus aureus.
The results demonstrate that CXCR1 polymorphism can influence somatic cell count and milk neutrophil viability following experimental mastitis.
Title: Somatic cell count and milk neutrophil viability of dairy heifers with specific CXCR1 genotypes following experimental intramammary infection with Staphylococcus chromogenes originating from milk.
In the present study no association could be detected between superoxide production by isolated bovine neutrophils during early lactation and CXCR1 gene polymorphism. IL-8 showed to possess inhibitory effects on ROS generation in bovine neutrophils.
Title: Reactive oxygen species generation by bovine blood neutrophils with different CXCR1 (IL8RA) genotype following Interleukin-8 incubation.
CXCR1 polymorphisms influence viability and concentration of milk polymorphonuclear neutrophilic leukocytes.

The following CXCR1 gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the CXCR1 cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want?
