GeneRIFs: Gene References Into Functions What's a GeneRIF?
Kri-1 is required to activate DNA damage-dependent cell death of germ cells independently of cep-1/p53.
Title: Cell-nonautonomous regulation of C. elegans germ cell death by kri-1.
Data show that the reproductive system communicates with the intestine through lipophilic-hormone signaling and that a gene called kri-1 is likely to act in the intestine to promote DAF-16 nuclear localization in response to this signal.
Title: Germ-cell loss extends C. elegans life span through regulation of DAF-16 by kri-1 and lipophilic-hormone signaling.
The following kri-1 gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the kri-1 cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want?
