GenSmart Optimization is a free online tool for performing codon optimization to improve gene
expression. GenScript’s patented algorithms are integrated into the tool to optimize the
computing capability of high-performance sequence generation.

Instructions:
1. You can directly copy
multiple sequences from your file and paste them into the form. Alternatively, you can select a row, right
click to see options and then insert rows to add more sequences.
2. You can use English
letters, Arabic numerals, space, dash, full stop, or hyphen in your gene name.
3. Both DNA and protein
sequences are acceptable.
3.1) For DNA
sequence, please make sure your sequence contains “A”, “T”, “C” or “G” only; otherwise, the sequence will be
recognized as a protein sequence.
3.2) For protein
sequence, please make sure your sequence doesn’t contain “B”, “J”, “O”, “U”, “X” or “Z”. Also, if you need
to indicate a stop codon, please use an asterisk (*).
3.3) For DNA
sequence, please make sure the sequence length is divisible by 3.
3.4) For the
expression host of E.coli, the length of sequence should be ≥ 33bp or 11aa accordingly.
4. The system will
automatically recognize the sequence type and calculate the size accordingly, when you click on any region
outside the table. You can modify the type by selecting from the drop-down list.

(Note: When the host species are distantly related, dual-host optimization might not yield optimal results in both hosts. Optimize separately for each host is then recommended.)
The optimization is under processing. GenSmart Codon Optimization will send you an email once the optimization is completed.

Your confirmation of this order constitutes a binding contract on you and/or the entity you are on behalf of. All the performance under this order shall also be governed by the Standard Service Agreement, which you may refer to on our website https://www.genscript.jp/standard_t_c.html
If you have already concluded a Master Service Agreement (“MSA”) with GenScript, then the MSA will automatically govern and apply to the order instead of the Standard Service Agreement.
The turnaround time may vary depending on the size and complexity of the project.
*Turnaround time calculation does not include delays incurred due to project/order communication after order confirmation, waiting to receive material from customer or “pause/hold” request from customer.
**In some other rare cases, gene may be genetically unstable in customer's vector, which makes it impossible to deliver gene in required vector. In this case, gene will be delivered in GenScript standard vector and subcloning fee will be waived.
DISCLAIMER for International Orders
Duties and Taxes: Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are separate from shipping and handling costs and are not included in the custom service or catalog product price. Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees will be collected from the freight carrier upon delivery for certain packages. These charges are the package recipient's responsibility as GenScript only charges the transportation fee for the packages. You may check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be.
International clients are responsible to pay duty and tax for customs clearance purpose. If your organization has duty or tax exemption certificate, please send it to our technical account manager (TAM).
