| Product Description |
StrepCaptureXP Elution Buffer (10×) is a 10× concentrated buffer containing biotin. It is specifically for the efficient elution of fusion proteins tagged with Strep-tag II or Twin-Strep-tag from the StrepCaptureXP protein purification products, such as StrepCaptureXP Magnetic Beads (GenScript, L01075) and StrepCaptureXP Resin FF (GenScript, L01091). Biotin competitively displaces tagged proteins due to its high-affinity but reversible binding to the StrepCaptureXP ligand. This ensures high recovery yields while preserving protein integrity and activity. |

| Recommended Usage |
Prior to use, dilute the StrepCaptureXP Elution Buffer (10×) to 1× with deionized or distilled water at a 1:9 volume ratio. For example, dilute 50 mL of StrepCaptureXP Elution Buffer (10×) with 450 mL of deionized or distilled water to make 500 mL of StrepCaptureXP Elution Buffer (1×). |
| Storage and Stability | The unopened product is stable for 12 months from the date of manufacture at 2°C to 8°C, and the opened product is stable for 1 month from the date of opening at 2°C to 8°C. |
| Note | For optimal stability, the prepared StrepCaptureXP Elution Buffer (1×) should be stored at 2°C to 8°C in light-protected containers (e.g., wrapped in aluminum foil). |
