GeneRIFs: Gene References Into Functions What's a GeneRIF?
From the experimental data it was inferred that the transcription factors Bas1p, Pho2p, and Gcn4p play a central role in the regulatory events causing the Crabtree effect in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Title: Gcn4p and the Crabtree effect of yeast: drawing the causal model of the Crabtree effect in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and explaining evolutionary trade-offs of adaptation to galactose through systems biology.
Data show that Bas1 is localized to the nucleus under both repressing and derepressing conditions, and that Pho2 is not required for the association of Bas1 with chromosomal DNA.
Title: DNA-bound Bas1 recruits Pho2 to activate ADE genes in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
The following PHO2 gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the PHO2 cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want?
